JOURNAL INFORMATION
FOCUS AND SCOPE
The Revista Latinoamericana de Opinión Pública has initiated a new period in which it will center on the publication and diffusion of:
- Studies of public opinion that contribute to theory development and hypothesis testing of explanations of political, social and current problems;
- Studies engaged in national, subnational, cross-national, cross-regional, or global research;
- Studies on the role of public opinion polls in political decision making, the development of public policy, electoral behavior, and mass communications;
- Evaluations of and improvements in the methodology of public opinion surveys, big data and analyses based on these types of data.
RLOP is aimed at academic experts and professionals in public opinion in Latin America.

PUBLICATION FREQUENCY
The Revista Latinoamericana de Opinión Pública publishes one volume per year. Each volume consists of two issues, published in the months of May and November.
Each issue, generally, consists of five to seven articles, no more than two research notes, and no more than two book reviews.
